India, Oct. 21 -- Xiaomi's Redmi sub-brand has confirmed that the Redmi K100 will launch in China on October 27. The smartphone will feature a 10,000mAh battery, a 165Hz display with native support for more than 40 games at 165fps, and a dedicated gaming chip. The company has also revealed a new green colour option and Bose-tuned speakers.

Official design teasers from Xiaomi show a flat back panel with a horizontal camera module positioned across the top. The device features a flat metal mid-frame and a new Fluorescent Green colour option, giving it a distinctive appearance.
