India, May 25 -- Ubisoft's decision to keep Edward Kenway's drunk Animus loading scene in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced looks like a small win for fans. It also shows the real boss fight facing every remake of a beloved game. Better graphics are useful, but they cannot carry a game if the original feel gets nerfed.

The issue started after Ubisoft shared footage of a drunk loading-screen sequence where Edward appeared to walk normally while the camera swayed around him. Players noticed fast. In the 2013 original, the gag worked because Edward himself stumbled through the Animus space. His movement sold the joke.
