India, Sept. 26 -- Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday business operations, but its growing use is also opening new doors for cybercriminals. According to ESET's Enterprise Cybersecurity Report 2026, 85% of Indian organisations experienced at least one AI-related cyber threat in the past 12 months, while 99% are already using or piloting AI in at least one business function.

The report, commissioned by ESET and conducted by Blackbox Research, surveyed 400 cybersecurity decision-makers across Indian enterprises, including large businesses and SMBs. AI is being used across customer service, document processing, analytics, software development, risk management and threat detection.
