India, Aug. 17 -- AMD is bringing Qwen3.8 27B to compatible Ryzen AI Max+ systems and Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics cards from Day 0. For developers, this means they can run a 27-billion-parameter AI model locally for coding, testing, research, and other workloads without relying entirely on cloud services.

Qwen3.8 27B is a dense model with 27 billion parameters, which makes memory capacity an important consideration for local use. AMD says the model can run on systems powered by Ryzen AI Max+ processors or a single Radeon AI PRO R9700 with 32 GB of graphics memory.
