Punjab, Sept. 12 -- This week's Indian startup announcements cluster around quantum security, healthcare payments abroad, and checkout plumbing - and none of them are consumer apps.

What links them

Each sits one layer below anything a customer sees. A quantum communication tie-up is research infrastructure. A DIFC subsidiary is a licence to operate. A payment method integration is a percentage point of conversion.

That last one is worth dwelling on. Checkout abandonment is among the largest recoverable losses in Indian e-commerce, and the fix is rarely a better product - it is one more payment method the customer already trusts.
