Punjab, Oct. 2 -- Vladimir Putin said Narendra Modi has "very good ideas" for ending the Ukraine war, and raises the subject every single time the two men meet. He did not say what the ideas are.
What Putin actually said
Modi, he said, is "one of those world leaders who, despite our very good and even friendly relations, personal good relations, constantly raises the question and asks the question about putting an end to the conflict in Ukraine."
He described Modi as taking "a neutral position but with an interest in the end of the conflict", with "an avid interest and very good ideas aimed at finding mutually acceptable solutions", and thanked him for pushing for dialogue.
No detail of any proposal was made public.
