Punjab, Oct. 18 -- Lakme Fashion Week closed in Delhi on Sunday with Amit Aggarwal's AM:IT presenting "5 PM Glam Reset" for the House of Lakme, with actor Aneet Padda walking the finale.
The collection's premise
"5 PM Glam Reset" is a beauty-brand brief as much as a fashion one - the idea of clothes and a face that carry from the working day into the evening without starting over. That is the territory a cosmetics house wants to own, and it is why the finale is a collaboration rather than a solo show.
Aggarwal is an interesting choice for it. His signature is structured, sculptural work in industrial and recycled materials - polymer, metallic textiles, moulded forms - which is close to the opposite of what "glam reset" suggests. AM:IT is...
