Punjab, Sept. 16 -- India beat Afghanistan by 7 wickets with 31 balls to spare in the second T20I in Delhi to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Nitish Kumar Reddy took 3 for 24 and was named Player of the Match.

Afghanistan posted 159 for 8, with Ibrahim Zadran top-scoring on 37. India chased it down in 14.5 overs for 163 for 3.

Sanju Samson made 57, Abhishek Sharma 39 and Ishan Kishan finished 38 not out. Rashid Khan was the one Afghan bowler who got anything out of the surface, with 3 for 36.
