Punjab, Sept. 22 -- India beat Sri Lanka by 147 runs at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin to win the Asian Games women's cricket gold - the country's first gold of Aichi-Nagoya, and back-to-back titles after 2023.

Smriti Mandhana made 79 off 45. She and Shafali Verma put on 99 for the opening wicket. Richa Ghosh finished it with 49 not out off 22.
