Punjab, Sept. 22 -- India condemned Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan's Kunar and Paktika provinces on Tuesday, saying the aggression "vitiates regional peace and security". Taliban authorities put the toll at three killed and four injured.
What happened
One woman and two men were killed and two women and two men injured in the strike on Kunar. A shop and a house were hit in Paktika.
Pakistan's information ministry described the operation as "selective targeting of terrorist camps and hideouts" belonging to what it calls Fitna al Khawarij - its term for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
