Punjab, Oct. 2 -- India's women's recurve archery team beat South Korea 5-3 to win the country's first ever Asian Games medal in the discipline - and they made it a gold. A 17-year-old shot the two tens that settled it.

Kumkum Mohod, Ankita Bhakat and Kirti Sharma held together in windy conditions against the defending champions. Kumkum, 17, delivered two 10s in the closing stages.

India had beaten China 5-1 in the semi-final to get there.
