Fiji, Aug. 20 -- Fiji's Deputy Speaker of Parliament Lenora Qereqeretabua, alongside women Members of Parliament, has handed over copies of a booklet documenting the history and contributions of women in Fiji's legislatures to the Ministry of Education.

The booklet, Celebrating Women in Parliament: 1966-2026, will be distributed to schools across Fiji.

Qereqeretabua said the publication records the journeys and contributions of women who have served in Fiji's legislatures since 1966.

She said the booklet aims to encourage more women and girls to consider leadership, public service and participation in Parliament.
