Fiji, Sept. 9 -- Pacific tuna fisheries remain the healthiest in the world, delivering major economic and social benefits while facing growing challenges from climate change and global pressures, the Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) told Pacific Leaders at the 54th Pacific Islands Forum in Honiara.
" I am pleased to report that our tuna stocks are in good shape, that is, Skipjack, Yellowfin, Bigeye and Albacore remain biologically healthy - making the Pacific, the only region in the world able to make that claim," FFA Director-General Noan David Pakop said.
