Fiji, Oct. 15 -- Tuvalu's Permanent secretary for Foreign Affairs, Pasuna Tuaga, has called for Pacific nations to stay united and innovative in tackling the region's challenges as he officially opened the 55th Committee of Representatives of Governments and Administrations (CRGA) in Tonga on Monday.

Tuaga, who now chairs the CRGA, said the meeting comes at a crucial time for the Pacific Community (SPC) and the region as a whole.

"We gather at a critical time. Climate impacts, economic fragility, and shifting global dynamics remind us that business as usual is not an option. We must continue to be bold, collaborative, and innovative in shaping solutions that improve the lives of our people," Tuaga told delegates.
