Fiji, May 22 -- Niue Prime Minister Dalton Tagelagi has announced his new Cabinet ministerial portfolios a week after being elected and sworn in as Prime Minister.

The new Cabinet appointments were announced Tuesday as the government set out its priorities across finance, foreign affairs, infrastructure, climate change, health and education.

Prime Minister Tagelagi will retain responsibility for Cabinet and national security, the Niue Assembly, public service, finance and economic growth, foreign affairs, crown law, state-owned enterprises, oceans and fisheries, and climate change.

His portfolio also covers Treasury, customs, taxation, investment, trade, planning, the Niue Trust Fund and public-private partnerships.
