Fiji reopens Kuala Lumpur mission, eyes trade, energy and Asean opportunities: Foreign Minister Ditoka
Fiji, Aug. 12 -- Fiji has formally reopened its High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, restoring its permanent diplomatic presence in Malaysia and positioning the mission to strengthen cooperation on trade, investment, energy, technology and regional engagement.
Foreign Minister Sakiasi Ditoka said the reopening marked the return of Fiji's permanent diplomatic presence in Malaysia after the High Commission was closed in 2020.
"I had the great privilege of officially reopening the Fiji High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, marking the return, in permanent and physical form, of the Fijian flag on Malaysian soil."
