Bhubaneswar, March 18 -- In a dramatic and shocking incident, a youth narrowly escaped death after being attacked by an elephant in Odisha's Dhenkanal district. The incident, which has now gone viral on social media, took place in Talabarkote area under Gobindpur.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Bidyadhar Behera of Khuntukata Sahi, accidentally came face-to-face with the elephant on Tuesday. The animal reportedly knocked him down and pinned him under its foot, creating a life-threatening situation.
