Bhubaneswar, Aug. 25 -- Rocking Star Yash's return to theatres with Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is less about making a comeback and more about testing how far his post-KGF stardom can travel. After a four-year gap, the gangster drama is scheduled to arrive worldwide tomorrow, with early shows starting at several locations from 6 am. Its advance bookings have already reportedly generated more than Rs 40 crore.

The benchmark remains KGF: Chapter 2. The 2022 blockbuster is estimated to have collected Rs 134.50 crore across India in all languages on its opening day, while its worldwide day-one gross was around Rs 164 crore.

So, can Toxic go beyond that opening? Current trade expectations indicate a worldwide debut of more than Rs 100 ...
