Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- A woman Revenue Inspector (RI) was caught red-handed by the Vigilance Department while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 in Odisha's Koraput district on Tuesday.

The accused has been identified as Shailabala Nayak, the Revenue Inspector of Kosaguda RI Circle under Borigumma Tehasil in the district. According to reports, she allegedly demanded and accepted the bribe from a beneficiary under the government's fish pond scheme.
