India, July 19 -- A massive fire was reported at a firecracker factory near Ramol-Gatrad Road in Ahmedabad on Saturday. At least eight people died and more than 10 others sustained serious injuries in the incident.

According to reports, an explosion occurred at the factory which led to a massive fire. The fire spread rapidly across the premises, leaving the factory completely destroyed.

Rescue Operation Launched Soon after receiving information, the Rapid Action Force reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. Rescue teams recovered the bodies of eight people from inside the building.
