Bhubaneswar, June 21 -- A wedding celebration in Odisha's Balangir district turned tragic after a 47-year-old woman reportedly died following exposure to loud DJ music during a marriage procession, sparking unrest in the area and demands for strict regulation of sound systems.

The deceased, identified as Lochana Bahuk of Brahmapura village, is believed to have suffered a fatal health episode after being exposed to high-decibel music played during a wedding procession at Barampur under Patnagarh police jurisdiction on Saturday.
