With a trough running from south Bihar to north Odisha and an upper air cyclonic circulation lying over central parts of Bay of Bengal, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre on Tuesday predicted heavy to very heavy rains in several Odisha districts during the next three days between August 13 and August 15.
The IMD has issued an Orange Warning in these districts of the State for the next three days.
