Bhubaneswar, May 21 -- Bringing pride to her family and district, Naishmita Sahu from Betarsing village under Mohana block in Odisha's Gajapati district has emerged as the district topper in the +2 Science examination.

Naishmita, a student of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Department Higher Secondary School in Mohana, secured an impressive 560 marks out of 600, achieving 93.03% and earning the top position in the district.

Her achievement becomes even more inspiring considering her humble background. Her father is a vegetable vendor who supports the family by travelling to local markets and selling vegetables.
