Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- A dispute over honking allegedly turned violent in Bhubaneswar, with two youths and a woman accused of assaulting an Assistant Section Officer (ASO) and a journalist on Friday.

The injured ASO has been identified as Tapas Nayak. According to the allegations, the journalist was attacked while trying to intervene and save the ASO.

Police from Kharavela Nagar police station reached the spot after being informed about the incident. During the attempt to control the situation, the woman and the youths allegedly pushed and manhandled police personnel and abused them using obscene language.
