Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- In a tragic road accident, two truck drivers were killed after being run over by a speeding container vehicle near Khajuripada under Kesinga police station limits in Odisha's Kalahandi district, officials said on Wednesday.

According to preliminary information, the two drivers had parked their truck carrying paddy on the roadside and were standing nearby when the accident occurred. At that moment, a fast-moving container vehicle allegedly lost control and rammed into them, crushing both men.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the two drivers died on the spot. Local residents and passersby rushed to the scene after the accident and alerted the police.
