Bhubaneswar, June 4 -- Two persons were killed after a Hyva truck allegedly rammed into a bullock cart on the Jagannathpur-Pratapgiri road under Patapur police limits in Ganjam district of Odisha early on Thursday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Nath Jena and Biji Gouda, both residents of Pratapgiri village. They were travelling on the bullock cart when the accident took place.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday when the Hyva truck hit the bullock cart on the Jagannathpur-Pratapgiri road. The impact of the collision was severe, leading to the deaths of the two men travelling on the cart.
