Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- A tragic road accident claimed the lives of three persons after a car collided head-on with a bus on National Highway-53 near Tangurusahi under Karanjia police limits in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district on Monday.

According to reports, the bus was travelling from Thakurmunda to Karanjia when it collided with a car coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the instant death of all three occupants of the car.

The bus driver and passengers sustained minor injuries, while around 30 to 40 passengers were reportedly on board at the time of the accident.
