Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- A trailer driver died in a road accident on the Jhumpura bypass along National Highway 20 in Odisha's Keonjhar district early on Friday morning.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred when a trailer travelling towards Rimuli rammed into the rear of a truck. The impact of the collision was severe, leading to the death of the trailer driver on the spot.

Officials said the collision was so intense that the driver got trapped inside the damaged trailer cabin after the crash. Locals immediately informed emergency services following the accident.
