Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- In a heartbreaking road accident, three people lost their lives after a Scorpio SUV collided with a motorcycle near the Kuchinda Forest Park in Sambalpur district.

The accident took place in front of the forest park under Kuchinda area, when a speeding Scorpio rammed into a motorcycle carrying three passengers. The impact of the collision was so severe that two people died on the spot, officials said on Saturday.

A six-year-old child, who was critically injured in the accident, was rushed to Burla Medical College and Hospital. However, the child succumbed to injuries during treatment on the way.
