Bhubaneswar, April 14 -- A deadly boiler explosion at Vedanta Power Plant in the Singhi Tarai area of Sakti district, Chhattisgarh, claimed ten lives and left 15 others injured on Tuesday afternoon. The injured workers were immediately taken to a hospital in Raigarh for medical treatment. Emergency response teams, including ambulances, rushed to the scene to assist in the rescue operations.

Investigation Underway

District Superintendent of Police (SP) Praful Thakur confirmed the casualties and stated that an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Mahesh Sharma, SDM of Raigarh, also expressed that the cause of the explosion is being thoroughly examined.
