Bhubaneswar, April 8 -- The Chaitra festival in Ekamba village under Jeypore block in Odisha's Koraput district witnessed a unique display of unity as residents of Gadapadar and Ekamba came together to celebrate the Chaitra Benta festival. The people of Ekamba had extended invitations to Gadapadar villagers ten days in advance, continuing a long-standing tradition.

Following the invitation, villagers from both tribal communities gathered at Ekamba and participated in the festivities with enthusiasm. People of all age groups were seen joining the celebrations, where guests were welcomed wholeheartedly and treated with warmth and affection.
