Bhubaneswar, March 16 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across several districts of Odisha over the next five days, with weather alerts issued for different regions of the state.

According to the latest weather bulletin, light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely to occur in multiple districts, while dry weather is expected to prevail in the remaining parts of the state during the forecast period.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Khurda, Nayagarh and Cuttack districts.
