Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- Three youths were killed in a suspected hit-and-run case after an unidentified vehicle rammed into the motorcycle they were travelling on near Mahasingh Bridge under Baliguda police limits in Odisha's Kandhamal district.

The accident took place between 10.30 pm and 11:00 pm on Friday, when the three were travelling on a single motorcycle from Baliguda towards Mahasingh.

According to police, one of the youths died on the spot due to the impact of the collision. The other two, who sustained critical injuries, were rushed to Baliguda Sub-Divisional Hospital, where they later succumbed to the injuries during treatment.
