Bhubaneswar, Oct. 12 -- Three people were injured after a car rammed into seven motorcycles on the Cuttack-Puri Bypass in Bhubaneswar early on Monday morning.

As per reports, the incident triggered tension at the spot. Local residents allegedly assaulted the car driver following the accident.

According to reports, the car was travelling at a speed of 70-80 kmph when the driver lost control, leading to the accident. The car hit seven parked motorcycles and injured three people standing nearby.

Badagada Police reached the spot immediately after receiving information. They rescued the driver from the angry locals before taking him for questioning. The injured were rescued and admitted to Capital Hospital for treatment.
