Bhubaneswar, March 17 -- Thousands of devotees gathered at the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Jajpur on Tuesday to observe the auspicious Baruni Snana, one of the most significant religious rituals in the region. The sacred event, held on the banks of the Baitarani River, witnessed participation from pilgrims across Odisha and neighbouring areas.
The Baruni Snana is traditionally observed during the Hindu month of Chaitra under the Shatabhisha Nakshatra, making it an important occasion for ritual bathing and spiritual observances.
