Bhubaneswar, Sept. 5 -- For some teachers, education goes far beyond classrooms and textbooks. It becomes a mission to help children overcome the barriers of poverty, disability and difficult circumstances. On this Teachers' Day, meet Kailash Chandra Sahu and a group of teachers and social workers from Odisha who are doing just that- dedicating their life to shaping the future of children.

Kailash, who is visually impaired since birth, never allowed the absence of sight to limit his aspirations. At Kudutai Upper Primary School in Ganjam's Jagannathprasad block, he continues to inspire his students.
