Bhubaneswar, May 25 -- To improve transparency and reduce rush during Tatkal bookings, the Kota Division of West Central Railway has implemented a token system at all stations under its jurisdiction. The new arrangement is aimed at ensuring better queue management and a hassle-free reservation process for passengers.

The railway division stated that passengers booking Tatkal tickets for Air-Conditioned (AC) classes will be issued tokens between 9:00 AM and 9:25 AM. For Sleeper class bookings, token distribution will take place from 9:30 AM to 9:55 AM. Officials have requested passengers to arrive at reservation counters on time and cooperate with railway staff for the smooth implementation of the system.
