Tata Power pushes nuclear power project plans with three states; is Odisha under consideration?
Bhubaneswar, May 14 -- Tata Power is reportedly in discussions with three states regarding its proposed nuclear power projects. The company is currently conducting feasibility studies and expects to finalise detailed project reports (DPRs) within the next six months, CEO and MD Praveer Sinha said during a post-earnings call on Tuesday.
Sinha added that Tata Power is also working with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) for its nuclear energy expansion plans and is exploring two Small Modular Reactor (SMR) projects of 220 MW each.
