Bhubaneswar, July 6 -- Continuous rainfall has led to severe waterlogging at the revered Swapneswar Mahadev Temple in Talagada village under Athagarh block of Odisha's Cuttack district, with nearly four feet of rainwater inundating the temple premises.

As per reports, despite the flooding, devotees and priests have continued to offer prayers and perform daily rituals while standing in the water.

According to local residents, the temple, dedicated to Lord Swapneswar Mahadev, has been submerged after rainwater accumulated due to poor drainage in the area.
