The Odisha government on Thursday announced to launch a major review of the prestigious Subhadra scheme beneficiaries, with the aim of ensuring that only the eligible continue to receive benefits while ineligible names are weeded out.
The exercise comes after allegations that several undeserving individuals had managed to get enrolled under the scheme while genuine beneficiaries were left out.
