In a passionate display of dissent, over a hundred students from the Government Women's College at Baripada in Mayurbhanj district staged a protest on Thursday, demanding the cancellation of a professor's sudden transfer.
Holding placards and shouting slogans, the students blocked the college gate, bringing attention to their concerns.
According to sources, more than a hundred students of the Baripada government women's college agitated today on campus demanding the cancellation of the professor's transfer. The demonstration took place in front of the college's main gate, which the students locked to emphasise their demands.
