Bhubaneswar, June 3 -- Several people were injured after a dispute between residents of two villages escalated into stone-pelting in the Anandapur area of Odisha's Keonjhar district on Tuesday.

The incident involved residents of Sankhana and Tentulinanda villages. The confrontation reportedly began over a long-standing disagreement regarding the boundary between the two villages, which eventually escalated into a violent clash between members of both sides.

According to reports, the dispute over the village boundary intensified on Tuesday, leading to stone-pelting from both sides. Several people sustained injuries during the confrontation.
