Bhubaneswar, April 16 -- A ground incident involving two passenger aircraft at Delhi airport on April 16 caused brief disruption but ended without any injuries, according to airline officials.

A SpiceJet Boeing 737-700 was involved in the occurrence while taxiing on the ground. During movement, the aircraft made contact with another plane, resulting in damage to its right winglet.

The impact also affected the left-hand horizontal stabiliser of the second aircraft, which belonged to another airline. Following the incident, SpiceJet confirmed that the aircraft has been grounded in Delhi for further inspection and necessary repairs.
