In the run-up to the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Speaker Surama Padhy has convened an all-party meeting on Tuesday to seek cooperation from all political parties for the smooth conduct of the House.
The monsoon session will be held from September 18 to 25, spanning seven working days.
According to sources in the Assembly Secretariat, the meeting will discuss the government's proposed legislative agenda as well as issues flagged by the opposition. The Speaker has urged all parties to maintain order in the House and ensure constructive debates on matters of public importance.
