Bhubaneswar, Sept. 21 -- A clash over a social media live video led to a firing incident in the Bharatpur police station area of Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Two rounds of blank firing was reported during the confrontation.

As per reports, five people sustained serious injuries in the clash and assault.

The incident followed a social media live by a youth on Sunday, during which he made controversial comments in connection with a case. After the video went viral, members of the opposing group reportedly became angry and reached near a Ganesh Puja pandal at Ghatikia late at night.
