Bhubaneswar, Sept. 5 -- Residents of Odisha's Berhampur are struggling with pothole-ridden roads, waterlogging and clogged drains, with major stretches and inner roads in poor condition.

Despite crores of rupees being spent on road projects, commuters say poor maintenance has made daily travel difficult and unsafe.

Roads from Sukunda to Haridakhandi, Tata Benz to Khallikote College and Suba Rao Chhak to Pani Tanki have developed potholes. Residents say the Sukunda-Haridakhandi road, a key route into the city, had bitumen laid over a concrete surface, but the top layer has worn away.
