Bhubaneswar, May 25 -- A serious road accident involving a Hyva truck and an ambulance occurred near Tarikunda Chhak under Jagatsinghpur Sadar police station limits on Monday, leaving the ambulance driver critically injured.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the driver's left hand was completely severed. Following the accident, he was initially provided medical assistance locally before being shifted to Cuttack for advanced treatment due to the critical nature of his injuries.
