On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, a state-level medal-awarding ceremony was held at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi awarded the President's Medals to distinguished personnel across the State police, fire, prison, and civil defence services for their exemplary work.
In recognition of their exceptional contributions, President's Medals were conferred by the CM to officers and personnel from various departments. Police employees were recognised for their distinguished and noteworthy service, with key honours going to Vigilance SP Saroj Kumar Samal and Constable Satyabadi Mallik.
