India, July 27 -- Odisha BJP launched a sharp attack on the Leader of Opposition (LoP) and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik on Monday following his criticism of the State government over alleged errors in school textbooks. BJP general secretary Biranchi Tripathy questioned Naveen's record during his tenure as chief minister and accused his government of failing to address similar issues.

Tripathy claimed that question papers had been leaked several times during the previous BJD-led government and questioned what steps Naveen had taken to find a permanent solution to such problems. He alleged that ministers were suspended at the time merely to protect Naveen's public image.
