Sanju Samson's long-standing association with Rajasthan Royals (RR) appears to be heading towards an uncertain end. The Kerala wicketkeeper-batter, who has been a face of the franchise since 2015 and its captain since 2021, has reportedly developed "serious differences" with RR management.
According to a Cricbuzz report, the fallout has reached a point where Samson has formally requested a trade or release ahead of the IPL 2026 season.
